Cape of Storms: A Palette Knife Perspective

This piece is my interpretation of Table Mountain—a rugged, textured ode to one of South Africa's most iconic landmarks. Using a palette knife, I worked layer by layer to create a painting that’s as much about feeling as it is about form. The rough textures, bold strokes, and impressionist style reflect the untamed energy of the Cape of Storms, a place that never fails to inspire awe.  Every angle of this piece catches the light differently, bringing out the dynamic textures and rich interplay of colours. It’s not a perfect, polished view of Table Mountain—it’s raw, emotional, and alive. Stretched on high-quality canvas, this is more than a painting; it’s a window into the heart of the Cape. Perfect for anyone who loves art with depth, both literal and emotional.
